CAN my CHILD APPEAR FOR MUSIC EXAM?
Yes, we send you for Trinity & ABRSM Grade Examination, if you and the child are interested.
Can I try a class before I sign up to a course?
Yes, 15 to 30 mins of Demo Class is available for your kid to participate.
How much does one class cost?
It depends on the instrument that you select. Our Base Price is 99 INR per class
Do I have to pay fees for multiple months in single payment?
Not necessary, but if you are interested you can pay for three or more months in advance and get discount upto 13,200.00 INR
Is it a batch or group class?
No Group or batch classes available, all the classes will be in one to one attention or individual class. Each student will have individual instrument provided by the academy.
Why should I pay the Refundable deposit fee?
Deposit Fee is collected for the safety purpose of musical instrument and academy properties. The Deposit Fee is a refundable fee which will be refunded at the time of resigning the classes, if you do not have any pending dues
What if my child or I am somewhat experienced, will you make me start at the beginning?
No. What we try to do with experienced musicians is pick up from where they are. In some cases it may be necessary to backtrack over bad habits that may have crept in over time or through informal learning.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS A CLASS?
Please don't bring a sick child to class- we have an open make-up policy! If you need to make-up a class, you may come to a different class that week, or double up on classes during any week. If you can’t make it up during the validity time, no worries… make-ups will carry over to the next session!

Can a parent ‘sit in’ on a music lesson, are they expected to stay away or always be there?
We have an open door policy. It is your choice whether to sit in, sit in the lobby or run some errands. Some music students find a parent in the room distracting and some work better with Mom or Dad in the room. The teacher will give you some advice on this after they get to know your child
Do you have a recital or Live Concert Programme?
Yes we have a FREE recital around the middle of June
I don’t have any musical background or ability; can I still help my child practice?
Yes. Even if you don’t have a musical background you can ask the teacher for advice on how to help your child practice. By simply monitoring that they are practicing everyday, doing exercises a certain number of times, etc. the music student will progress. Many parents occasionally sit in on their child’s music lesson to get an idea of the proper way a song should sound or how the student should be positioning their hands. As well you will be able to tell if your child is playing music or just ‘doodling’ on their instrument.
Do I need to buy my own Instrument?
If you are a keyboard, piano or drums student, we will provide the instrument in the class. For practice at home, you have to buy your own instrument. For other instruments student, 1-3 months we will provide the instrument. If you are interested to learn quick, we suggest you to purchase a instrument

Yes, all the faculties are grade holders in TCL
How long will it take me to become good at playing the instrument?
The length of time required depends on your natural ability, your goals and the amount of time you dedicate to practising and playing. If you practice regularly, you will need about 6 months to a year to play the basics. Learning any musical instrument is a tough job. You have to love the instrument
Do you help us in buying the music instruments?
We have our music store and we have are authorised dealers. House of Piano Students will get special discount and the price is comparatively less than the market price.
What if the class is too slow or too fast for me?
There is no group or batch classes so you will not face this problem. We identify your talent and provide you with higher level only
What’s the easiest instrument to learn?
If you are drawn towards playing a particular instrument, you are more likely to be motivated to play regularly and progress with your playing.
CAN WE TAKE MUSIC LESSONS EVERY OTHER WEEK INSTEAD OF EVERY WEEK?
At first this might seem like a good idea, but we have tried this in the past and we do not offer it. If you miss a lesson, it would be almost month before you saw your music teacher again. It is really important that the teacher checks your progress and corrects your form every week. We have found attending weekly music lessons will enhance the learning momentum and generate mastering a skill more quickly.
